All about Tim Feeley

In the age of AI, I build products, experiences, and systems that help people and technology trust each other—across web, native apps, CLIs, and platform OSes, collectively helping enable $50 billion in revenue across the internet’s most tracked surfaces.

• If you’ve ever scrolled through Facebook’s News Feed, you’ve seen and interacted with UI patterns I’ve shipped.

• If you’ve ever signed in to a Gmail account, your identity and personal details were protected by infrastructure my team and I built.

• If you use the Chrome browser at work—you’re protected by AI that I had the pleasure of building on the frontlines with Engineering, including an MCP server and Gemini extensions to manage Chrome Enterprise Premium.

What I’m up to

I work on the Google AI Transformation team, where I get to:

• Develop and deploy products & curriculum that explains how to get more out of AI: prompting, SKILLS, agentic workflows for technical Googlers as well as making the whole stack accessible and approachable for roles that traditionally haven’t been as technical.

• Make sure our institutional knowledge of platforms, technologies and languages stays fresh, interesting and within reach: AI means well, but evaluating its outputs requires a mix of understanding the underlying tech and being able to evaluate what “good” looks like. We want to stay sharp where it matters.

My storied past

Along with shipping consumer products, I’ve build and managed PM teams and cross-functional engineering teams across the globe. Together we:

• built AI infrastructure and tooling that compressed multi-week PRD cycles to 20-minute prototypes

• secured sensitive data for as many as 5+ billion users and 5+ million corporations

• accelerated customer acquisition across 50+ account opening experiences

• consolidated and created identity platforms and frameworks for as many as 4 billion users

• built data protection and regulatory readiness platforms and infrastructures

With a body of work spanning design systems, UX and identity/access management, and agentic AI—I’ve developed and delivered more than twenty product management training courses (e.g., user experience, design, EQ development, leading by influence) and mentored more than fifty PMs, many who today hold leadership roles.

When I’m not at my keyboard, you can find me chilling with my two hairless cats, Boolean and Kevin, indulging a Broadway show and occasionally “entertaining” my friends and trying Hot Ones linups, despite their duly-noted protests. I also try to stay active on my Peloton and explore San Francisco.

Nobody has it all figured out. But, together we can make better mistakes tomorrow.
